This Privacy Policy describes how SMdevs ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information related to your use of the Word Vault mobile application (the "App"). A. Information You Provide Voluntarily: We do not collect any personal information (name, age etc.) to use in the app. We only ask for Profile data (username, email and profile picture) when you authenticate with the secure and trusted providers.
B. Data Collected Automatically (Performance & Usage Data): We automatically collect performance metrics and learning progress to track your vocabulary expansion and improve our recommendation algorithms. We also collect anonymous device identifiers, OS version, and session duration for the sole purpose of debugging and stability.
We use the information collected solely to provide and maintain the App, personalize your experience with non-essential data, and monitor technical performance to ensure a bug-free experience.
We use the information obtained after successful authentication to secure your app related data (progress, collections, etc.) so that it is available across devices and incase you reinstall the app.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising or sell your data to third parties.
We use third-party tools (such as crash reporting or analytics services, e.g., Firebase) to perform functions necessary to operate the App. These providers are only given access to information necessary to perform their services and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We will disclose information only if legally required (e.g., by court order).
Word Vault is intended for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiers from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately, and we will take reasonable steps to remove the information from our records.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect. We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy and will notify you of any major changes by posting the new policy within the App or on this page.
